Google News Is Down Again
Google News is down again, which means that life as we know it has come to a complete and total stop.
Seriously, we’re starting at an “Internal Server Error” screen here at the home office clicking our refresh buttons like we’re part of some science experiment to see how long we can go without food. Or sex.
Or information.
Wait … you mean there are other pages on the Internet? Besides Google News?
No way …
We called a friend of ours at the company and they told us the outage has something to do with the snake Kathy Lee Gifford brought on the Today show last week.
Of course, then they told us they were “just kidding” and would have to get back to us.
That phone call must have done it, though, because hey look … it’s back up.
Like Robert Plant in “Little by Little,” we can breathe again … the Indian rupee is surging, Drew Peterson is in court, the Celtics are done and Sri Lanka’s 25-year war is over, people.
And yes, Sic Willie appears to still be having his way with S.C. Senator Shane Martin …
Now that all is well with the world, let’s get back to Kathy Lee and that snake …

Google has been troubled recently, most likely because of their switch to IPv6 (or something), but considering how reliable it has been (especially compared to more local networks and IT departments), I don’t think it’s any reason to panic.
