Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer’s Chief of Staff is reportedly resigning in the wake of the scandal surrounding his involvement in Senior Scam … err, Senior Shield, a callous attempt to use state resources for personal financial gain.

Jim Miles, who served as South Carolina’s Secretary of State for eight years, has been dogged by criticism over his role in the scandal, which you can read all about here and here.

Now if we can just get SCGOP Chairperson Karen Floyd – who profited the most from this scam – to resign her role.

Oh that’s right, Republicans haven’t elected Floyd chairperson (yet).

Anyway, according to the website Palmetto Scoop, Miles resignation could come as soon as next week.

We will elect Karen on Saturday. I don’t think anyone else is even running now. Too bad. This is kinda like Lindsey’s race in ‘02. No choice.

As usual, Sic Willie is grasping at straws about Karen Floyd.

Do you have something against women in power? Please don’t freak out and “push” her into a piece of furniture or something…

Karen Floyd is an honest hard working professional. A fact that Sic knows.

Who’s paying you to tear down your friends today?

Why don’t you try making a honest living? As opposed to spreading baseless rumors about good people.

Morons,

In addition to the fact that it’s true, we posted this SPECIFICALLY to get a rise out of “Karen’s Activist Army.”

You people are clonish and predictable.

Ahhhh…. Let the mudslinging begin!!! C’mon, Karen is going to be a great Chairperson. New Leadership in our States Gop Party will be a relief to most of us, who want it to get back to the core values, with the added benefit of her knowledge in technology. We will see lots of good things in this Party from Mrs. Floyd .

Karen Floyd’s spent the last 15 years doing a lot of good work for the upstate community and businesses. And her legal and technological work has taken her all over the state. She’s just a hard worker, something we could use a little more of in politics. I like her. Even if she did go to USC.

focus on the issue at hand, Jim Miles is a first class TURD that the people of South Carolina thought they flushed once and for all when he came in next to last when he ran for Governor. He has always been bad news. The only good idea he ever had was phasing out the election of Secretary of State and making it a cabinet agency but instead he became part of the status quo.

This story has been driven by a loser named Curtis Loftis.

A man who has very few friends and enjoys bringing down the same people who realized he is a complete nut job.

What a d-bag.

Maybe he can go through 3 constitutional officers in one year.

First, there was and is no scandal! There is and was no financial gain! Nitwit, you know the facts, you just keep on letting someone who helps pay your bills feed you bold faced lies, and you print the stuff. I am not sure which one of you is the more disgusting. Are you going to let someone who is burning bridges faster than he can cross them lead you down that path?

scguy123, oops I mean Frank Adams and his stable of young white 20 somethings at the Lt. Govs Office…

If you have an argument to make against what Loftis has to say, make it. Why attack him… with mindless talk I might add.

Many agree with him but are afraid to talk. They are afraid…many of them work for you or your friends.

PS…why IS the LGs office full of young white boys on full time payroll

20 companies have signed up. That is all that needs to be said. 20…in the whole state!!

Except…the term failure has a nice ring to it. Course it does not matter when you are spending the taxpayers money. Win or lose, the way they play the game it does not really matter as someone eles has to pay the bills.
