Soldier Who Shot Five Fellow US Troops Identified
U.S. Deparment of Defense officials have identified the suspect in a deadly shooting yesterday at Camp Liberty, the main American military base in Baghdad, Iraq.
Sergeant John M. Russell, who was on his third tour of duty, has been charged with five counts of murder and one count of aggravated assault after killing five of his fellow troops yesterday in the most deadly episode of “soldier-on-soldier” violence since the Iraq invasion began six years ago.
Prior to the shooting, Russell’s commanders had taken his weapon away over concerns for his well-being and the well-being of others.
It is unknown how he obtained the weapon that was used in yesterday’s assault.

I think Congress should spend the next 3 years at “Camp Liberty”- Let them get a feel of the war ( are we still calling it a war) and a taste of the action.
