This choice tells me that Sanford's political views are more aligned with McCain's than they are with Paul's. If it weren't for the Governors office our state would be financially bankrupt. The retirement system is in such a deficit and the legislature are the ones acting like the stimulus money is burning a hole in their pocket. Like children, they are wanting spend, spend, spend, instead of planning for our states future. To read this mornings paper and hear the education system blame Sanford for not hiring teachers is again the biggest bunch a BS. The public school system has not only been fully funded this year, but has recieved their stimulus money! Jim Rex and his cronies are just trying to pass the buck. The blame game needs to stop and these folks need to stop being self serving. Sometimes the hard road is the only appropriate road to take and at least Governor Sandford realizes this!
