Sanford To Highlight Budget Waste, Inefficiency
S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford will hold a press conference today to highlight waste and inefficiency in the state’s $20.7 billion budget.
In related news, South Carolina’s Republican lawmakers will immediately criticize Sanford for holding a press conference and not taking his concerns directly to them.
Wait, you’ve seen this TV show before, too?
Anyway, as much as we’ve criticized Sanford this year, he’s at his best when he’s going line-by-line through the budget and highlighting totally indefensible spending.
We look forward to bringing you a report on what he’s uncovered …

If the governor is giving a grade on performance, what has the governor’s office done? Shouldn’t, working with the legislature be a goal of any governor?

If working with the legislature means increasing taxes and the size of the government then no – it shouldn’t be the goal of any governor.
“Working with legislature” is what governors have been doing since the dawn of time in SC and you seen where it’s gotten us.

And Sanford has gotten us a whole lot farther than previous governors. Here’s a list of what he’s accomplished over the past six years:

Sanford and Demint 2012 or Demint, Sanford 2012…or Ron Paul and Demint 2012 ETC….Give me my country back!

What has the Governor’s office done??? If it weren’t for the Governors office our state would be financially bankrupt. The retirement system is in such a deficit and the legislature are the ones acting like the stimulus money is burning a hole in their pocket. Like children, they are wanting spend, spend, spend, instead of planning for our states future. To read this mornings paper and hear the education system blame Sanford for not hiring teachers is again the biggest bunch a BS. The public school system has not only been fully funded this year, but has recieved their stimulus money! Jim Rex and his cronies are just trying to pass the buck. The blame game needs to stop and these folks need to stop being self serving. Sometimes the hard road is the only appropriate road to take and at least Governor Sandford realizes this!

Sanford supported McCain, rather than Paul, in the primaries. This choice tells me that Sanford’s political views are more aligned with McCain’s than they are with Paul’s. I cringe at the thought of Sanford 2012, and there are many more worthy VP candidates for a Paul 2012 run.

Ron Paul,Judge Naploitano?..or Jim Demint,Jeff Flake??…There are good Republicans we can get behind. We need to start getting something going soon because there are lots of RINOS to weed out

The RHINO leadership needs to be publicized in their districts and criticized for their votes and lack of leadership.
