Camp Liberty Slaughter: The “Pro-bama” Spin Begins
The blood of five U.S. soldiers gunned down by one of their own at an American military base in Iraq isn’t even cold yet, and already an author at the ultra-liberal Huffington Post is spinning the incident to President Barack Obama’s advantage.
Specifically, Obama is being praised for increasing federal funding for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder.

Some of us have warned about this kind of thing happening for years, with many in the media ignoring the effects of the war on our soldiers and veterans, or paying attention for just a short while and then moving along.
It’s revealing that today’s incident, according to the latest report, took place at a clinic for soldiers suffering from trauma or mental fatigue.
Suicides both in Iraq and among vets back home have been surprisingly high almost from the beginning of the war and have surged in recent months.
Also truly shocking is the number of veterans with brain trauma. These numbers get reported when a study emerges, then are forgotten. At least Obama has upped money for treatment.
Good God. How completely inappropriate and condescendingly crass is this article?
Seriously, these dead soldiers are still twitching and this asshole is already trying to score political points for “The One?”
Give us a friggin’ break.
Perhaps not surprisingly, the author of the “article” – Greg Mitchell – recently wrote a book entitled “Why Obama Won.” Hopefully he included something in there about the left’s “rush to fawn” over ever move Obama makes.
Look, maybe this guy has a valid point. Maybe Obama did “up” this funding, and maybe that’s something he should get credit for.
Can we at least get these guys buried properly before we start praising him?

FITSNews may from time to time reach a little, to be kind, but it is out of a passion and genuine belief of a shared hybrid blend of conservative and respectful ideology and thought. And while there is no love loss between us, we agree on most matters of pressing concern regarding state and country and with the premise of this post no matter the hastened nature of it. We would also add that A**Hole is a most kind reference to the “O” frankly.
