“Butt Ball” In Anderson SC Public Schools?
A public school teacher in South Carolina’s Anderson School District 1 has resigned in the wake of multiple accusations of inappropriate homosexual conduct with male students.
The contact is alleged to have occurred as part of a state-sponsored “tutoring program” at Palmetto Middle School, according to a complaint filed with local police.
The teacher’s name is Steven Chad Vickery, an eighth-grade science teacher who had been at the school for nine years.

According to the complaint, over the course of the school year Vickery would lead male children in games, including one called “Butt Ball,” in which “a person pulls their pants down and bends over in front of a wall while the others attempt to hit the person on the bare buttocks with a ball.”
The complaint also said Vickery contacted minors via text messaging and asked them to send him pictures of themselves.
Vickery’s resignation follows the news last week that former Anderson District 4 superintendent (and buddy of House Ways & Means Chairman Dan Cooper) Gary L. Burgess, Jr., was busted soliciting a sex act in a park frequented by “high-profile homosexuals.”
Seriously, is there something in the water up in Anderson?

Well Palmetto Native, most of the elected officials were booted last election. I think you must have meant prior elected officials.
Plus, the worst county administrator in the state was booted several months ago. Things will get better. But, goodness the education system needs to clean up!

It’s shameful that the school district is promoting homophobia! Clearly the student making the complaint is a homophobe! The teacher did nothing wrong in his teaching students to accept homosexuals. Anyone who says anything negative about the courageous teacher is a homophobe and should be sent off to Obama/ACORN’s “re-education camps” along with that homophobe Miss California.

all i got to say is none of you people that are leaving comments know the whole story. this teacher has done so many things and he should be punished about it. and to the person that said that they are happy that a teacher would be so bold and do that stuff to young male students is just as discusting as the teacher who did it. i can not believe someone would support sexual misconduct with a minor. how sick? what is this world coming to?
