“It Kids” Teacher Next FITS Radio Guest
Is our founding editor’s “Hot for Teacher” fantasy about to come true?
We’ll find out this Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. when Dutch Fork (S.C.) High School’s Kelly Payne joins us for “Face-Off with FITS,” our new radio segment.
Payne has single-handedly turned a public school classroom in suburban Columbia, S.C. into one of the state’s most important political forums.
Her current issues class has heard from House Speaker Bobby Harrell, Attorney General Henry McMaster, S.C. Policy Council President Ashley Landess, Comptroller General Richard Eckstrom, SLED Chief Reggie Lloyd, Rep. Nikki Haley, Rep. Nathan Ballentine and of course, Sic Willie.
Payne is no stranger to the political process. Previously, she was instrumental in helping promote legislative awareness of “Alive @ 25,” a defensive driving class for teenagers.
Here are the details from our release over on Pitch Engine:
FITSNews, South Carolina’s leading political blog, today announced that Kelly Payne, Dutch Fork High School current issues teacher, will be the second guest on a new radio program entitled “FACE-OFF with FITS.” The program airs Sunday, May 10 at 6:30 p.m. and will run for an hour.
“Our current issues class has been fortunate to have some visits from high-profile South Carolina politicians,” Payne said. “I’m looking forward to sharing what we learned through this unique public forum.”
Payne will also bring some special guests with her to the FITS studio.
“Face-Off with FITS” first guest was S.C. Rep. Eric Bedingfield (R-Greenville). He joined our founding editor Will Folks (a.k.a. Sic Willie) for a fun, informal discussion on a number of pressing political issues, including legislation on labor unions and parental choice.

By An Ardent Admirer of Ms. Payne on May 7th, 2009 at 4:29 pm
Something that will hit the “airwaves” that speaks truth to power. A refreshing does of common sense and reality. I can’t wait to hear the interview. And Sic is not the only one “hot for teacher”….

sic(k) willie,
We have a few questions for Ms. Payne that we expect you to include.
First, Ms. Payne, please share your thoughts about the terrible crime of Criminal Domestic Violence, and why in the name of Wild Bill Hickup you would associate with a felon convicted of CDV?
Second, Ms. Payne, sic(k) willie posts porno and other blatantly sexually oriented material that honest people know is not appropriate for kids. Do you allow your students to read his smut and look at the dirty pics?
Third, Your relationship with sic(k) willie did not “just happen.” Please explain your relationship with sic(k) willie and include all the details you prefer the public not to know. The truth will set you free. ;)

Last question for now. How will you explain his “hot for teacher” comment to your students and their parents? Inquiring minds and Mrs. sic(k) willie wantg to know.

BIN News Editorial Staff,
Take a hike, if you don’t care for Sic Will and his style, then surf on over to some other site. But I guess you spend so much time here because your just envious of Big Will.
By FITS Gals on May 7th, 2009 at 8:22 pm
Trust us. Master Will is “Big”…This will be a fun interview, BIN maybe you should hold the microphone instead of Jimmy boy…

Yawn. A response from “FITS Gals.” M@r@n.
Hope Ms. Payne can explain to her class the blow up doll pic from “FITS Gals.” Add that to our questions. Why does sic(k) willie use a blow up?
Teachers are supposed to be role models for their students.
Good role models don’t associate with convicted felons (Criminal Domestic Violence) who post porn and sexually explicit material on the web.
Okay, okay.
Many felons serve time, pay fines and return to respectable society.
Our Funding Editor’s Mom is a great example. She was once busted for Jay Walking in Pocotaligo, S.C. 48 years ago.
She paid her fine and served her time to society.
She has not Jay Walked in Pocotaligo since.
But sic(k) willie is unrepentant. He told the Judge “guilty,” but he then penned a foolish denial that was published by The State.
It was titled: “My Side of the Criminal Domestic Violence Story.”
Kelly, have your students and their parents read that foolishness?

BIN, I have a few questions for you before I answer your questions.
1. What is your website? I know that there isn’t actually a BIN news on the web.
2. Why are you almost as obsessed with Ms. Payne as Will is?
3. If you hate Will so much, why do always comment on his stories.
ok, here are my answers:
1. If you have paid your dues, as you are talking about, shouldn’t you be let back into society.
2. Will does not post porn, that would be illegal, he just posts pictures of hot women.
3. Ms. Payne is engaged, and Sic Willie is married, their relationship is merely love from afar.
By Stuart on May 8th, 2009 at 11:15 am
BIN that would be, taking rumors, half-truths and innuendo from people who don’t know what they are talking about, including you, and treating it as fact. It is unfortunate that so many people are snowed by outright manure, but that is the way backroom politics is in South Carolina.

Maybe BIN should check himself before going after an innovative high school teacher that tells us about using civil discourse. He is better off debating people still in elementary school, who think on his level.

I’m not a cop, but, I can read. According to South Carolina Law, CDV is a misdemeanor. Mr. Willie had a very public arrest for a crime that happens all too often in this state. If he has learned from his past and has moved on to be a productive member of our community (Mrs. Willie will be the final judge of that) then the community should not hold any more animosity against him than they would a person convicted of driving without insurance or driving under suspension (both misdemeanors). I don’t think that Mr. Willie has ever hidden from his past (I think that he relishes it). I’m sure that photographs on this site are not too far removed from pictures that are in the checkout line at the grocery store. Or on nightly television. Or in video games. Life is what it is and at some point kids need to learn that there are many different kinds of people in the world. Not necessarily good or bad, just different.

Actually, that picture of the blowup doll is a picture from an episode of The Office.

Thanks Office fan! Great show isn’t it?
