In what could be the start of an incredibly fun new series, S.C. Senate Minority Leader John Land (D-Clarendon) is the inaugural victim of … drum roll, please … “You Saw WHO Reading FITS?”
Land was busted by two of his colleagues reading FITS on the floor of the State Senate during last week’s budget debate – but the truth is he’s one of dozens of lawmakers who tune their laptops to us while the legislature is in session.
So what article was Land reading?
Our sources say it was Mande’s post last Wednesday about Kim Kardashian’s cellulite, of all things.

File an FOIA request for Land’s browsing record so you can prove this allegation. While you are at it ask for browser records for all Elected Officials and all government employees for the last 5 years.
Actually, make the request for all State owned computers everywhere.
That should bog down State government for months. Even years. Lawyers all over S.C. will make brazillions of dollars on that request.
They probably don’t keep records 5 years back, but it will be interesting to see what you come up with.
You will probably blow a fuse at the results.

Hey…I hate to break up the never ending pointless battle between you two…but before either of you go making claims about what has been viewed on a state owned machine from the House or Senate floor you may both want to file a FOIA request regarding the network filtering of that VLAN.
