Katie Couric’s SC Casting Call

Do you live in South Carolina? Do you lack health insurance? Are you in a family? Are you articulate?

If so, you could have a hot date with Katie Couric – and by “hot date,” we obviously mean that you and your family could be exploited for an agenda-driven news report that will no doubt portray our state in the worst possible light.

And leave you, how do we say, unfulfilled.

Anyway, here’s the casting call from the left-wing Appleseed Legal Justice Center:

Katie Couric of CBS is looking for a family with no insurance to interview ASAP. They will take any state, but prefer SC because of our outstanding stats of late. If you know a fairly articulate family willing to talk, who does not qualify for SCHIP or other help, please call:

It’s funny, we were just writing on SC’s health care situation earlier today. Wonder if this is the reason for CBS’s “ASAP” requirement.

It’s always funny how these left-of-centers trip over themselves to accommodate their PR firms … err, MSM faves.
