Naughty Left Wing Nuts Indicted
A left-wing “antipoverty” organization has been indicted on thirteen counts of voter registration fraud in Nevada after it was busted paying people to submit bogus voter registration forms in advance of the 2008 election.
The Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now, or ACORN, was charged by Nevada officials earlier today, immediately prompting calls for Congressional investigations into the activities of the federally-funded organization.
ACORN registered an estimated 1.4 million “voters” nationwide, although its actions have run afoul of the law in numerous states.
In fact, ACORN narrowly averted criminal prosecution last summer in Washington State’s largest-ever case of voter registration fraud.
Give ACORN’s rap sheet, you’d think its federal funding and non-profit status would be immediately revoked pending a nationwide investigation.
Of course, in Obama’s Washington that’s never going to happen – with or without ACORN’s army of taxpayer-funded lobbyists.
After all, there are still millions of imaginary “poor” people who need to be added to Democratic voting rolls … on your dime.

Oh yeah, go right to the “Bush, Cheney” script. Are you guys all robots? You regurgitate that defense for everything and never actually LISTEN to what the hell is happening in the world. Even if it were true and it’s not (and I did NOT vote Republican), that has nothing to do with this story. The story is, ACORN has been indicted on thirteen counts of voter registration fraud in Nevada!! This is atrocious! They’ve had at least 17 separate convictions over the years, an executive (the founder’s brother) was convicted of embezzling more than a million dollars, and yet the government continues to fund them through grants funneled through the Tides Foundation and other non-profits. They got billions in stimulus cash, are getting billions more to provide “down payment grants” to low-income homebuyers while also providing “foreclosure counseling” (um, quite a paradox that one), and are now going to conduct the 2010 census.
This isn’t gossip, they’re FACTS!! Look up the lawsuits, read the stimulus bill, read the federal budget, and read the Grantees lists from both the ACORN and Tides websites. It’s not made up. Start reading some facts and stop blaming ‘Junior Bush’ and ‘Darth Cheney’.

Just another dumb b*tch masquerading as a non-Republican. ACORN has never been indicted. Operative word, dumb chick, NEVER.
Individual ACORN workers have been indicted and prosecuted with assistance from ACORN.
No one anywhere has ever been indicted/convicted for voting illegally as a result of any illegal registration. Name one, dumb chick.
This is just another phony outrage that hits the right wing noise machine every October before an election. Full of sound and fury signifying nothing.
