This Is Pathetic
How bad has it gotten for SC Hotline?
The website has gone to the dogs … literally.
Shortly before noon yesterday, SC Hotline editor Jeffrey Sewell blasted out the equivalent of an “Amber Alert” for a pair of Jack Russell puppies owned by former WIS news anchor Heather Hoopes-Matthews.
Here it is:
Heather Hoopes-Matthews is looking for 2, 8 month old Jack Russell Terriers (named Jack and Jill) that disappeared earlier today just east of Camden off of Black River Rd. (close to I-20). Please post this to your status & let’s help her find them … THANKS!!!
Three hours later, Sewell became the first person to comment on his own post (and presumably the third person to read it) when he logged on to say “I have been in a meeting, any word on the pups yet?”
Nice of him to check in.
Of course, six hours after the drama began – it was all over.
At a little after 5:00 p.m., Sewell became the second person to comment on his own post (and presumably the fourth person to read it) when he sent this bulletin:
“schotline UPDATE… Heather Hoopes-Matthews puppies found… thanks for your help… SCHotline loves animals, what can we say …”
Jeffrey Sewell. He’s a real American hero.
