The last time the university of Tennessee was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated(at least something like, not even sure) back in 200... They bounced back from a couple losses and got themselves ranked #7 in the nation, and got shafted to the Chick Fil A Bowl to face (unranked) Clempsun. Phillip Fulmer's top ten team got owned by an unranked ACC team. It HAD to have been BAD luck...

Tennessee had TOO MANY players that season that are still currently in the NFL(most of which start) to fall to a mediocre ACC team.
Jason Allen DB(first round pick) Miami Dolphins
Rashad Baker DB Philadelphia Eagles
Kevin Burnett LB Dallas Cowboys
Dustin Colquitt P Kansas City Chiefs
Robert Meachem WR (first round pick) New Orleans Saints
Jonathan Mapu DE (undrafted Free Agent) Washington Redskins
Brad Cottam TE Kansas City Chiefs
Omar Gaither LB Philadelphia Eagles
Jabari Greer DB New Orleans Saints
Chris Hannon WR Detroit Lions
Tony McDaniel DT Miami Dolphins
Arron Sears OT Tampa Bay Buccs
Eric Young OT (Freshman that year, but still) Cleveland Browns
Kevin Simon LB Washington Redskins

That many guys with NFL contracts, and they lost to an unranked Clemson team... unbelievable...
