Now, I have what is considered an untrained eye, but I will openly admit that your in-state application status was probably not the reason USC denied you admission. USC's website states that 61% - not 20% - of the current 1L class are S.C. residents. They are positive no such altercation took place and that there was absolutely no run in with George Hearn and anyone else. Everyone tells me that George Hearn attended Barristers Ball, had a perfectly pleasant evening, and left at the end of a night without a single scratch on him.
