Lindsey Graham Is Unaware That He Was Being Protested
U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham is a FOO (Friend of Obama) at a time when we need more FOO Fighters.
Funny, we know.
And while Graham desperately wants you to believe he’s a FOO fighter all of a sudden, there was a pretty good reason why he was hanging around the golf course last week while thousands of South Carolinians protested the big spending D.C. “bipartisanshit” that he has epitomized ever since he was elected in 2002.
That reason?
Lindsey Graham knows when (and how) to go run and hide.
Look, when guys like Gresham Barrett (whose voting record is 10 times more fiscally conservative than Graham’s) are getting booed, you can only imagine what would’ve happened had a real RINOcrat taken the stage.
Wait, this is South Carolina – what are we talking about?
They’re all RINOcrats.
Of course, now that the public is starting to wake up to the ass-raping that DC politicians like Lindsey Graham have been administering to them for years, Graham all of a sudden wants you to believe he’s “with you.”
From La Liberbad (a.k.a. The Greenville News):
“If you’re looking at what we’re doing in Washington and you’re not upset, the problem is with you, not the protesters,” Graham said.
Graham, a South Carolina Republican, said President Barack Obama’s budget triples the national debt, raises taxes on “job creators” and cuts the defense budget dramatically over the next 10 years.
“People need to be upset,” he said. “This is a complete, absolute abandonment of fiscal discipline and the Obama budget is a roadmap to disaster that will bankrupt this country.
“I am glad people took to the streets. There is nothing wrong with you. The problem is in Washington. This is not the change people were hoping for. This is unbelievable growth in government at a time we can afford it the least.”
Thanks, Lindsey. We’re glad you’ve finally clued in.
Also, we appreciate the fact you think there’s “nothing wrong” with us.
That means a lot coming from you.
Here’s the thing, though …
Those thousands of protesters weren’t railing exclusivley at “The One,” or raging in general malcontent at some nameless, faceless culture of waste and corruption.
They were protesting you, big boy.

He talks the talk but does not walk the walk.
But it does not matter…because he has money and power…and the leadership of the GOP will never cross him…they are as greedy as he is and they always hope some of his money and fame will rub off on them.

I’m proud to say he didn’t get my vote! I didn’t leave the Republican Party…it left me. Kudos to Senators like Jim DeMint…we need more of them.
With apologies to Batman the movie, this town (meaning Columbia and Washington, DC) needs an enema!

Lindsey Graham plays the game–and it’s ALL a game to him. You’re right, he knows when to run and hide. He pulls his finger out of his posterior and holds it up to the wind and changes his tack.
For instance, the last letter I got from him ended a bit differently. Instead of making his usual statement to the effect that a “path to citizenship” must be found for all the “hardworking” illegal alien criminals in this country his office sent a letter stating the following dated April 6, 2009:
” . . . We cannot continue to allow millions of illegal aliens to live and work in the United States; nor can we permit them to seize employment opportunities from willing American workers.”
Butt-finger in air–political stand changed! If you have no guts, no principles, no soul, it’s very easy to play the chameleon game in D.C.
You can never trust him, however, even when he’s temporarily appearing to be on your side on a matter. That butt-finger of his is telling him to change sides ALL THE FREAKIN’ TIME!

Just for fun…does SC have a method to recall a US Senator? Who knows, it might get some traction.
