Minnesota Still Waiting
Minnesotans (we love saying that) still don’t have a resolution from a U.S. Senate race that took place five-and-a-half months ago, as Republican Norm Coleman and Democrat Al Franken are still slogging through a seemingly interminable (we also love saying that) court process.
Will we ever get a winner?
Who knows … all we know is it’s pretty funny seeing “To Be Determined” listed as the current U.S. Senator on Wikipedia, though.
Hello, Sen. TBD.
As it stands now, Franken is up by 312 votes over Coleman – out of 2.5 million ballots cast.
That’s pretty amazing – that an elections so big keep coming down to margins so small.
Anyway, Franken has been certified the winner and Coleman’s protest of the election has been rejected, but it remains unclear whether or not all the votes have been properly counted.
The case is headed to the Minnesota Supreme Court, and after that … who knows?
All we know is that Coleman’s wife is a real Blo & Go who makes us “wanna tonka.”
As for who ends up in the Senate from Minnesota? Yawn …

Sorry Sic – the votes HAVE been counted in this race, and not just once. Funnny how Republicans always complain about “frivolous” lawsuits, but yet they love to sue their way to office….

Coleman can console himself with a cushy cell in a federal prison. Sniffle. Another Republican headed to the big house.
