Look for Fidelity contributions in very large amounts. Meanwhile, look up Fidelity, it’s parent company and ALL OF THE BUSINESSES they own. Many of them appear to be the ones ” going out of business”.

I’ll stack my conservative bona fides against anyone’s and I am here to tell you that your obsession with Barrett’s vote on the initial “bailout” is foolish. Context is everything. Pretty much every non-wingnut will tell you that we were days away from a serious economic/financial meltdown. Days, not weeks or months. Inarguably, that bill was deeply flawed. More importantly, it bought some time. If Barrett had supported the nonsense that has followed, I’d be as disappointed in him as you – but he hasn’t. If you’ll do a little digging, I think you’ll find that killing that first bill would have been disastrous.

can’t wait to see how many TARP recipients PACs and employees gave to Bailout Barrett. If raising money by serving on powerful cmtes who give out billion in bailout $$ is the old fashioned way then I must have missed something

Don’t forget that his constituents needs to be informed as to who he is. No, I mean what his name is.

When a local newspaper in your own district can’t get your name right … well … you have a problem. Get ready to spend that million on telling folks you are “Gresham” and not “Garrett.”
