We’ve got assets deployed in a position to save this captain. Obama doesn’t wish to save this man. The American captain has already tried to escape once and was re-captured. Poor guy. He’s already figured out that Obama doesn’t care about him and won’t rescue him. His plight is a foreshadowing of things to come. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Don’t expect Obama to protect us from hi-jackers or terrorists. The world is watching Obama’s response and taking notes. He is projecting weakness and indecision. No wonder the pirates aren’t “afraid of the U.S.”

At least our new leader is smart enough to know that the evil, white European, capitalist captain is getting his just deserves.

After all, the pirates are just simple, Allah-fearing Muslims oppressed by evil capitalist, American greed…

Had Bush been president, these hi-jackers would never have considered hi-jacking an American-flagged vessel. If they had, then they would have been shark bait two days ago.

For some reason, Team Obama has decided to humiliate America by not allowing our Navy Seals to “take out” the hi-jackers. I pray for the poor captain because his president doesn’t seem to care about his fate.

It’s absolutely disgraceful that our superpower status is being challenged by a buch of Somalis in wooden boats. Obama is jeopardizing our national security with his non-reponse to this crisis.

Iran, Syria, North Korea, Russia, China, Hamas and Hezbollah are watching Team Obama’s incompetence with giddiness and are no doubt accellerating their anti-American agendas.

Jed, I completely disagree with your assessment that “the war on terror has resulted in a world with more terrorists and fewer Americans.”

Team Clinton responded to the first World Trade Center Bombing with a “law enforcement” approach. That effete approach emboldened aspiring Islamic terrorists who then successfully murdered over 3,000 plus Americans on 9/11.

Jed, have we had another terrorist attack on US soil since 9/11?

Jed, buddy, you can’t apply Western reason with religious fanatics.

Fact is, Jed, that a flagged U.S. ship hasn’t been hijacked in over 200 years.

While limp-wristed Team Obama is furiously seeking international “permission” to secure the “negotiated release” of an American hijack victim, the rest of the world rolls their eyes and laughs at Team Obama’s utter incompetence.

Then again, Obama aspires to be President of the World, and the US is in his mind, needs to be “cut down to size.”

You guys realize this isn’t a new thing, right? According to the infallible minds behind the wikis of the world, there were over 100 attacks by Somali pirates last year alone almost half of which ended in hostage situations. Also, just because it was an american crew doesn’t mean it was an American vessel and the Dutch may have had some say in the events or lack therof by the navy. And I’m not being overly defensive but give it up with this “abandoning the war on terror crap.” the war on terror has resulted in a world with more terrorists and fewer americans.

Obama’s handling of the “hostage crisis” is disgraceful! The whole world watched at the G-20 as Obama blamed America for everything and then bowed obsequiously to Saudi’s King Abdullah.

President Wimp is projecting weakness. His response to this crisis has been completely humiliating and will certainly expose our nation to more terrorist attacks. His effete non-response will only embolden aspiring Muslim terrorists.

It seems that Obama is siding with the Muslim hijackers.

Oops! I don’t mean to stereotype, I’m sure the pirates are probably just Associate Reformed Presbyterians or just those naughty Mormons…
