Where’s The Tiger “Sisterhood” At?

First of all, we’d like to send a special “Thank You” out to the members of the ‘Tiger Brotherhood’ who have contacted us in the wake of our recent series of stories about the administration at Clemson University.

We’ve never been fans of “secret societies,” but every member of this organization that we’ve spoken with has been a credit to Clemson University and has given us the impression that they are getting to the bottom of the current mess up in Tigertown.

They’ve also honored their organization’s “code,” providing us with a certain level of detail about discussions that have transpired within their private meetings, but refusing to reveal any information that would incriminate certain Clemson administrators – several of whom are members of the brotherhood.

While we continue to piece together everything that’s happened, it’s become clear to us that the “Tiger Brotherhood” has the best interests of Clemson University at heart. And while we may not see eye-to-eye on every issue with the various members who have contacted us, we respect where they are coming from and the way they are advancing the integrity of the University they love.

One thing is for sure – the “Brotherhood” is every bit as furious at some of the actions taken by top Clemson administrators as the CU faculty is.

Which is to say they’re pretty pissed.

Meanwhile, in typical fashion, our founding editor has found a way to turn the whole thing into another of his perverted fantasies, saying “enough with the ‘Brotherhood’ already, I want to know where the ‘Tiger Sisterhood’ is at.”

Ah, yes. Objective journalism at its finest.

Oh, and here you go, Sic …

the Tiger Brotherhood is not without its good, honest Clemson Guys – just happen to feel a little too protective of some of their brothers that stray from the straight, honest and honorable path.

We can continue to hope that the ones who do have a real feeling for their Alma Mater and really want to cleanse her of the virus that is lingering inside will take the proper actions to do just that.

They just can’t let individuals like Cathy Sams be not held accountable for her words, Clay Steadman not be responsible for his careless attacks on Clemson employees, Jim Barker for ignoring the work place sins of his Staff and their (ASSO VP’s), any of the Staff for their reckless use of their power and total disregard for the welfare of the employees.

I have never seen such uneducated comments with the obvious agenda of distroying the University. Radicalism is not an appropriate description of what you are doing but something really bad. This is definitly not a compliment to anyone associate with this site or contributing to the discussions which I will no longer read!. What all of you doing to get onto a blog and to get other attention is discusting and people know who you are!

Are there any black people in Tiger Brotherhood? No.

HI majority of One – No “radicalism” is not an apropriate description of this agends. It should be described accurately as “an effort to get past the many land mines that the Clemson Administration has set up )i.e. threats, intimidation, firing anyone who questions ) and, rid our University of this Administration that has constantly grown as a blight on her honor.”

Don’t think your reading would help. You head seems pretty much emeshed in the selfish, greedy and indifferent attitude of Mr. Barker’s Administration.

To address the comment by Not Sayin, Just Sayin regarding african americans in the organization. The organization does actually have many african americans in it. You can look up the members in the Clemson wiki. The President of TB was in my class last semester and he is actually african american too. So somehow or another you were badly misinformed, you might want to get your facts straight before commenting on blogs.

For Clemson,
