Brooke Gordon NOT Dating SC Dem Politico
In some of the worst news ever to befall the world of S.C. politics (but a momentous victory for single guys everywhere), former Miss Winston and ex-NASCAR wife Brooke Gordon won’t be blazing our state’s campaign trail anytime soon.
That’s because contrary to some published reports, she’s not marrying Charleston tort lawyer Mullins McLeod – who is being touted as a possible Democratic candidate for governor.
Sources close to McLeod say the couple “dated” and were “quite serious” at one time, but have since broken up.
For those of us who will be covering the upcoming 2010 gubernatorial race in South Carolina, all we can say is “bummer.”
Double bummer, in fact (tee-hee!).
