Quote “The governor is bleeding right now,” the aide said. “… and he knows it.”

Where did these politicians go from working towards the best interest of this state and its citizens to making a governor "bleed" forget about 2012, whether he runs for something else or not. Take care of 2009 and the next 50 years and more

All this governor has ever been concerned about is his next political move, which is obviously now the White House...and good luck with that. He thought he could say he was against taking the money and the legislature would bypass him and SC would get the money we will be paying back anyway. And once again, Sanford could blame the legislature for all our problems. For once, he's being held accountable and the "bucks" stop with him.

So, "several State Senators" are considering a plan that'll force FratBoy Sanford to kiss the mule's ass & in the process, allow kids to continue riding the 200K mile busses, gang-infested neighborhoods & prisons to go underprotected, etc.?? We can only wish somebody will "man-up" & consider the best interst of South Carolina & for just once, forget the political gotcha.

One problem with that "deal" is that it can't be used on roads and bridges.
