Seems Sanford has spent the past four or five years trying to talk the legislature into fiscal responsibilty. They ignored and overturned his vetos repeatedly, now they're blaming him? Wait a minute....this is a Democratic legislature isn't it? Sure sounds like DC....its all the other persons fault I'm being irresponsible. If the money is going somewhere and we are going to foot the bill no matter where it goes, why not accept it? Can't it be spent to replace the money already cut from the budget because of the poor economy? Economists predict recovery over the next two years. From what I understand it will be used to maintain state eployment instead of adding to the payroll. Am i misinformed or is this party politics run amuck? Y’all help me understand.
