NOT An April Fool’s Joke …
Our founding editor is running for Chairman of the South Carolina Republican Party … at least it would appear.
We thought this was an April Fool’s Joke when we saw it yesterday, but today is April 2.
And he has a website, www.FolksForChairman.com … which is pretty classy, if you ask us.
This is a fairly amazing development considering that Sic Willie isn’t a Republican and hasn’t voted in a partisan election since 1992.
Does opposition research even go back that far?

As we noted last week, “the man, the myth, the legend (in his own mind)” is on the road today giving a speech in Charleston. As such, he is not even returning our calls seeking comment. How funny is that?

UPDATE - Nevermind. Here’s his comment, which is from yesterday. Wait … so does that make it an April Fool’s? Good Lord we hope so …

The photo makes me think of what Karen Floyd and her crowd are prepared to do with old Republicans who built the party back in the day. I hope they use vasoline.
