Coming from a family of public educators, it hurts to watch our children suffer because of our state’s self-centered,irresponsible leadership. If any other state employee did his job the way Sanford is doing his, he would no longer be employed. As a teacher, I was not allowed to leave my children unattended to go to the restroom. It never crossed my mind to disappear to go “take a hike.” WHERE DO I GET A BUMPER STICKER TO “IMPEACH SANFORD?” Thank you.

The signs are not officially printed by the Republican Party, but fake? Give me a break. They were printed and posted by voters who consider themselves SC Republicans. Does the Republican Party really want to disassociate itself from the Republican voters who want Sanford gone? Do that, and they will be left with about 100 sixty-year-old white men. Whatever, they are getting stranger and stranger. I know the Democrats will be thrilled if the Republicans don’t want these voters. I’d hate to hire these guys to run a business.

I think Sanford has his own agenda, get his name out there however he can. Plus, he isn’t the one who doesn’t have a job, can’t feed or house his children. We taxpayers need help, the working class needs help. He has a nice home, and his family eats every day, I assure you. So to him, it’s nothing that so many ppl are unemployeed. Just gains more attention for him. But as for the following statement: “Personally, we think that the signs have way too many letters to reach the average South Carolinian.
You gotta use single letters and pictures, people. Oh, and sound it out …” That is rude and uncalled for. I am from this state and have had an education, as most people I know have. I hate the stereotype that all southerners are stupid, inbred morons. It really makes me upset. I am born and raised in the south, and dang proud of it! Just like someone from NY is proud of where they came from, or someone from another country is proud of their heritage.

PLEASE GOD IMPEACH SANFORD!!! He doesn’t care about public education and the poor and middle class. SC is 2nd in the country for unemployment and 48th in the country for education. Duh! What does he care about anyway. It’s time for that good ole’ boy to lose his job and benefits. Maybe then he’d open his mind and his heart. I’m just so disgusted with him and wish the state legislature or federal government could do something. I’ll have to go on FaceBook just to join the “IMPEACH SANFORD” campaign.

Where can I join the impeach Sanford campaign. Our governor is a disgrace. He is putting “principle” ahead of people. The $700 million will be spent, just not in South Carolina if Sanford has his way. The sooner he goes, the better for our state.

I need a sign too. Sanford is wasting money grandstanding with the sc taxpayers money. What does he do??? Does he donate any of his money or time to help people??? Does he think of the hungry children in this state? Did he take a decrease in pay? NOT!! Does anyone in his family do anything but live a rich lifestyle? We need jobs. Time for him to go.it is time to jam the phone lines,email boxes and snail mail in columbia and every elected offical in this state. Please put the sign all around public colleges the students and staff are suffering …

I would think a national campaign on Sanford’s part is unlikely–what can he really point to that demonstrates how, as governor, he improved the plight of South Carolinians. The unemployment rate? The education system? The environment? Healthcare? How does he plan to stimulate or improve South Carolina’s economy? If the National Republican Committee believes that he is electable on a national scale, they are (fortunately) delusional.
