(Interim) Commissioner Sic Is Riled Up
Our founding editor is hands down the most hated man in SC politics, which coincidentally makes his integrity (or lack thereof) among the most discussed/ dissected of anyone in the Palmetto State.
Not a day goes by, in fact, that somebody somewhere isn’t questioning Sic Willie on something – 99.99% of which rolls right off his back.
What’s the .01% that doesn’t?
Impugning his fantasy baseball integrity.
For the past three seasons, Sic has served as the Interim Commissioner of the Great Santini League, the most famous fantasy baseball league in America.
Aside from sleeping, it’s apparently the only thing he takes seriously in the whole world.
So seriously, in fact, that an e-mail earlier today from a fellow owner jokingly implying that one of his recent decisions wasn’t on the up-and-up prompted a 429-word statement from the “Commissioner’s Office” (he drops the “interim” when he’s angry).
No really.
In fact it was 468 words with the intro.
Sheesh.
Sic Willie, ladies and gentlemen – the man, the myth, the legend (in his own mind).
