“I’m Looking For Your ‘Off’ Button”
Every so often we have to stop and pay homage to the wit and wisdom of Mrs. Sic Willie, the saint who has somehow managed to stay married to our founding editor.
And while we know about Mrs. Sic’s surprisingly effective motivational speeches, sometimes the problem isn’t getting Sic geared up … it’s getting him to shut the hell up.
Take Thursday nights, for example, which are supposed to be the one night a week that Mrs. Sic (hello!) gets to lay in bed with her workaholic husband and watch some mind-numbing network TV.
Instead of vegging out quietly in front of the tube last night, though, our resident master of the flappy gums was in one of his adult ADD moods and found himself completely unable to, well … silence himself.
Hmmm …
Very gently, Mrs. Sic started pressing her finger on different parts of his tummy while he was babbling.
“What the hell are you doing?” Sic asked.
“I’m looking for your ‘off’ button.”
Nice.
Oh, and please tell us if you found it, Katrina … something tells us there is considerable interest in its location.

What is your point? Everyone knows $ic(k) willie’s off button is on his South side. He was sitting on it when driving the red ‘vette he “borrowed” to joy ride in while he was the gub’ners loudmouth. Abuse of office! He got kicked in it with his conviction for CDV. Criminal conviction! He was also sitting on it when he blogged over the grave of a “poor little black girl.” Reprehensible!
