Obama’s Navy: Two Left Feet

new-orleans

Fresh off of their Commander-in-Chief extending the olive branch to Iran, two U.S. Navy vessels ran into each other near the coast of the militant Islamic power.

Fifteen sailors were “lightly injured” according to a spokesman for the U.S. Fifth Fleet, which under the leadership of President Barack “New Beginnings” Obama might as well be the plastic navy in Shorty’s bath tub.

From The Guardian UK:

The collision in the strait of Hormuz … occurred in darkness when the submarine was submerged. The craft, the USS Hartford, suffered no damage to its nuclear propulsion system, a spokesman for the 5th Fleet said.

The other craft, the amphibious USS New Orleans, suffered a ruptured fuel tank, resulting in the spillage of 95,000 litres of diesel fuel. Both vessels were heading in the same direction when the collision occurred in the narrow strait and were subsequently heading to port for repairs, the spokesman said.

Litres … ah, the Brits.

Seriously though, people … our Navy is so small these days we can’t even stop a bunch of motor boating pirates off the coast of Africa, where everybody’s poor and broke.

What are we gonna do with Iran? Which is oil rich and well on its way to becoming a nuclear power?

This is pathetic.

No word yet on whether or not the Hartford and New Orleans were “hightailing it out of there” when they collided, but it wouldn’t surprise us in the least.

Obama is in such a hurry to kiss everybody’s ass that he can’t even evacuate without ships bumping into each other.

Like momma said, “when you rush, that’s when accidents happen.”

    Wow. Obama’s Navy?

You know our defense budget almost equals the military budget of every country in the world – combined.

And when did heading to port for repairs equal “evacuation”? Just curious.

Pitiful. Just pitiful. A far cry from Reagan’s 500 ship fleet. Now that was projection of power!

I’m sure by the time boy Obama is done with his defence cuts, we will be lucky to have a 50-ship navy…

But hey, at least we’re sending $900 million to the Muslims in Gaza…

I know your favorite hobby around here is showing your ass, but you’re really out of your lane on this, as usual when you try to talk military affairs.

Stick to statehouse gossip, ripping off celebrity blogs, and paid-to-post political messages. It’s really all you’re good for.

    Pat/Snead -

Sorry we a) have a since of humor around here and b) don’t suck Iranian cock.

    Forgive us …

And if you dipshits could read, you’d see that these vessels were heading to port for repairs BECAUSE of the collision.

That’s what the word “subsequently” means.

    Idiots.

Why don’t you two get back to your Iranian New Year celebration and checking and seeing if “The One” and his new Islamic Extremist BFFs need another testicular cuddling.

UPDATE: President Obama has blasted the ineptitude of the ships captains, stating, “Those guys navigational skills aren’t worthy of the special olympics!”

Suck Iranian cock? Hit a nerve, fat boy? There was no evacuation, just another bullshit “fact” made up by fitsnews in its drive to reach the bottom of political discourse.

Congragulations, with one post that included a reference to “cock” and “testicular cuddling,” you might have done it.

And by the way, if you want to toss insults around, especially the word “idiot,” I would suggest you start basing your posts on something more than gossip and invented facts. Besides, this is a small state. I might give you a smack the next time I see you. Unlike women, I hit back.

    The bit dog howls.

Our military shouldn’t be a political prop, so you’ll have to excuse my “since” of humor that doesn’t include making light of injured servicemembers.

    Arf! Arf!

We made an artful, metaphoric connection between Obama’s Iranian stance and this incident.

It was a joke, but you guys didn’t get it b/c you’re the Special Olympics of blog commenting.

    Pat,
I find it hilarious, as always, to read your posts. Your ego is tremendous. Your intelligence you clearly believe to be unquestionably superior to anyone who questions “Pat’s facts.” Besides, can you really fault FITS for pointing out the stupidity you so easily point out in others at every opportunity. A liberal’s first line of defense is always to undermine the intelligence of anyone who questions them. Everyone else is always the idiot…not you, isn’t that right Pat? Maybe FITS hit a nerve…hmmm. Please refer to the liberal book of “Pat’s facts” first before responding. And, please, please don’t hit me…I live in Charleston, too. Thankfully, this is a small peninsula, and your ego is so big I’m bound to spot you first.
    Best,

Do you just lie in wait like a Venus fly trap?

Waiting for Will to say something you can lash out on with your lib-speak?

You need release. Do your sinuses also bother you?

My husband will be the first to tell you that if you don’t get release, things will build up somewhere. Maybe your sinuses. Maybe in the Special Olympics blogging.

Are we waiting for the Iranian leadership to start falling and drooling over our new, clean, educated, black (or as they refer to him as negro) president?

To any of you American citizens out there that think the navy is inept, actually do something for your country, and stop making comments about how messed up the military is. If you had the slightest bit of knowledge about how the Navy or any other military branch operates, you wouldn’t be so niave about this subject and realize that operating a vessel that is 10 times the size of your mini van is not an easy task. Not to mention that there are no ways of making a visual concurrance of any surroundings while submerged in a submarine. So the next time any one wants to make a comment about inept military procedings try something before you do so. Paint all the windows in your car black, have someone you don’t really know give you turn by turn directions for coarse and speed, and by the way do this all blind folded with a lawnmower engine running within 5 inches of your ear. If you are successful in making it to your destination without hitting anything or worse yet, dieing in the process, then by all means post your comments for now you have an understanding of a submariners life while driving.

    To David Laymon TM2//SS USN

    AMEN BROTHER!

I may not be Navy, but I am in the U.S. Military, and you hit it on the head. People sit back in their living room chair and make all kinds of blanket statements about the Military, but don’t bother getting off their fat liberal ass and go to the recruiter’s office to see if they can lend a hand. Pitiful indeed. I am about to go off on my fourth deployment into harms way (for you liberal shits, that’s Iraq, Afghanistan etc. etc.) and I cringe when I see blogs like this with people talkin out of their ass and fail to pull their own weight. BUT, when smart guys like David call em on their stupidity/ignorance, its great. By the way, let’s not make fun of special olympics, those kids work their ass off too, instead of sitting around all day feeling sorry for themselves – hell, if they were able, they would sign up to do something for their country instead of making blanket comments of meaningless dribble.
