Barack-etology?

As much as we think President Barack Obama is a hypocrite and a socialist (wait … those are facts, not opinions), we have to give the man credit for being the savviest politician ever.

Sure, the mainstream media is completely in the tank for him and will likely continue to be completely in the tank for him, but Obama and his marketers are doing what any good PR team would do – they’re brazenly (and creatively) exploiting that advantage like there’s no tomorrow.

And we’re not just talking about Obama’s appearance on The Tonight Show (which will follow NBC’s highest-rated evening of prime time programming), but also the exclusive “Barack-etology” media opp he gave to ESPN, the world’s largest sports network.

By filling out an NCAA tournament bracket, Obama is being one of the guys.

He’s not a communist, a socialist, a Marxist-Leninist or a really, really liberal Democrat who’s running this country even further into the ground.

He’s just a guy following a sport he loves, which everybody can relate to.

In case you were wondering, Obama is 6-2 through the early games, which coincidentally is the same as Sic Willie’s record with his bracket.

Both the President and our founding editor missed the Butler-LSU game (which the Bayou Bengals won), while Obama predicted Washington’s win over Mississippi State (which Sic missed) and Sic predicted Texas A&M’s win over BYU (which Obama missed).
