You Don’t Need A “Weatherman” To Waste Money …

Bob Dylan probably isn’t going to write a song about this, but we found it hilarious that reporter James Rosen of McClatchy’s D.C. bureau referred to South Carolina’s diminutive Senate Finance Chairman as “Hugh Weatherman, a Florence Republican” yesterday.

His real name is obviously Hugh Leatherman, and we’ll let you guys be the judges as to whether he deserves to wear the “Republican” label or not (see poll below).

The reference/ typo was made in this story, which discusses a vote taken yesterday by Leatherman’s committee in response to Gov. Mark Sanford’s decision on what to do with a portion of South Carolina’s bureaucrat bailout money.
