Tom Davis tells it like it is. I’m among those who urged him to run for his current office, and I’m honored to have him as my State Senator.

As for me, I’m supporting Gresham Barrett for our gubernatorial nomionation.

Tom’s time could well come in 2018.

Confused: the reason Davis is attractive is precisely because he’s a freshman legislator and not someone who has been in longer. Why would we want that? Let’s face it — all the high-profile politicians have pounded the public podium against “the system” and then shut the door and cut the deals. Unfortunate, but true. So far, Davis hasn’t done that. He seems to have policy knowledge beyond the usual consultant-penned press release, and he understands state government better than almost anyone who currently runs it. He would be a good governor, and that matters more than being an experienced self-promoter.

Those painters at Davis’ crib weren’t illegals from Central America. They were illegals from Sanfrauds temp employment agency. There’s a difference. Hoy. So the GOP has spent 20 gazillion hours whining about BO’s 12 days in the senate as insufficient experience. So what’s Davis do…he follows BO’s lead with BO’s successful startegy of “get elected before ‘they’ learn just what a major asshole you really are”.
