“The One” Slips Under 60%

obama-mad

Looks like the bloom is coming off the rose.

President Barack Obama – who scored a historic victory last November promising “change we can believe in” and who rode into Washington D.C. on a bipartisan wave of goodwill and support – is slowly but surely losing his veneer of political invincibility.

As we predicted a few days ago, the realization by moderate commentators that Obama is “not who (they) thought he was” is beginning to seep into public approval rankings.

According to a Pew poll released yesterday, Obama’s job approval rating is now under 60% – falling five points from February to March (from 64% to 59%).

The poll also showed Obama’s job disapproval rating jumping nine points from last month – from 17% to 26%.

Also, the “don’t know” category thinned from 19% to 15% as more Americans started forming a definitive opinion of their new leader.

What does this tell us?

America is waking up …

This is minor compared to republicans feelings for their own party leadership:
Down 12% this month to 43%
Approval of republican leaders overall is at 28%.

Although Obama is slipping a bit, the real news is the continued descent into oblivion of the republican party.

    FWFIV-

That’s what happens when a party sucks donkey balls … literally.

The GOP is dead. Stick a fork in it. Time for a new party if you ask us.

Republicans had a chance in 1994 and another in 2000. They blew both …

Speaking of political capital, Obama has a new proposal whereby wounded vets don’t receive full coverage by the U.S. government for their military-related injuries.

The American Legion is strongly opposed to Obama’s proposal.

Only a coke-head would dare make such a proposal during a time of war.

    Then again, once a coke-head, always a coke-head…

It gets even better- I just heard on NPR (I know, I know, but it was slow day on Sirius Radio) that “Sleeveless” Michelle Obama has traveled to Fort Bragg, NC to address military families and discuss their needs. How about their need to know that when their husbands and wives return maimed and injured from fighting our wars they won’t be billed for their f*%#ing medical care! Private insurance billing for war injuries is an insult- we can spend billions on gnat research and boll weevil museums, but not a few hundred million on those wounded serving us overseas. Bizarre…

On “Hal Lindsey Reports” [I know, I know...but I like it] last night he was discussing Obama’s exploitation of this economic crisis. Rahm Emmanuel has already said ‘never let a good crisis go to waste’ — and Hillary Clinton is repeating this mantra on her missives abroad.

We are simply seeing a replay of an old Marxist model:

    1. Create a crisis (check)
    2. Have the media magnify it so the masses will demand an answer (check)
    3. Provide the solution ( ? )

    Obama’s solutions stink so far!

Does it matter what his ratings are?

Obama owns the media and the editors of CNN/ABC/NBC/MSNBC/NPR/New York Times, etc. will only report pro-Obama propaganda.

Any pretense of objective journalism is laughable.

I agree that control of the media is driving the popularity of Obama. I can’t turn on the news without some mention of him and his greatness. Yesterday, I learned that Obama is Irish during the Today Show opening. I mean come on, you are kidding, is he Irish or just a mutt?
