Gwyneth Paltrow is such an annoyingly prim and proper wanna-be Brit that we view everything that comes out of her mouth as if it came directly from the Queen (another lady who should have a sock put in it).
That’s why we couldn’t believe that she told former Two Lovers co-star Joaquin Phoenix that he needed to “go live in the projects for a few years” if he was serious about his career as a rapper.
Wow. Because Miss Tea and Crumpets obviously knows what it takes to be born again gangsta.
Paltrow also told MTV U.K. that “I think that there might be some other explanation or something going on. I’m not quite sure what, but I can’t believe that he’s really going to quit forever to become a rapper. It seems … odd.”
Really? Duh.
The moral of this story is the same as the moral of any story involving Gwyneth, namely that she should STFU.
Casey Affleck is making a great movie. We all need to give him some room to work, here.
