Jenerette: You’re a joke and you don’t even get it. If you would worry about keeping a roof over your head, keeping your husband out of jail, and really volunteer for real campaigns in your locale then maybe people would take you a bit more serious. NO ONE IS CLAMMERING FOR YOU TO RUN FOR ANYTHING, not even for the stuff you already failed at. So, get a grip and stay out of the way.

While I don’t know ‘Tumpy’ Campbell, I was Mike Campbell’s Co-Chair for Horry County during his run for Lt. Governor in 2006 and he was, in my assessment a good man who would have made an fine Lt. Gov – I’m glad to hear that he might run again in 2010.

Anyway, I remember years ago, right after I got back from the first Gulf War, when I was in college at USC Coastal, meeting both Governor Campbell and his father; so ‘Tumpy’ is from a family which has been very dedicated to the people of South Carolina. This is a good thing.

What I do know is that the Republican Party in general is barely treading water in the First District and there is no article in the U.S. Constitution that awards the seat to anyone including incumbents. It belongs to the people. So, the more choices the people have for their representative in Congress, the better it is for the people of our district.

I just happen to believe that I am the best man for the job. I’m looking forward to going toe-to-toe with anyone else who ‘steps-up.’

We will see. I expect a hardball campaign, and I’m not some ‘girl-scout’ who just got introduced to the world of South Carolina politics.

Tumpy is a moron with no scruples, no work ethic and a sense of entitlement that makes no sense. He is also shady as hell. Merrill is smarter, but “what’s” is correct — he’s lazy. Come to think of it, he’s also shady.

Henry is as stupid as Tumpy and probably shadiest of all.

Anyone have another idea?
