This Is Much Better Than The Legislative Manual
It’s admittedly rare when we’re pimping anybody but ourselves, but we gotta show some love to Tom DeLoach and his crew over at the South Carolina Business and Industry Political Education Committee (a.k.a. SC BIPEC) for putting out one helluva new product.
It’s called the “Almanac of S.C. Politics,” but State House insiders are already referring to it as the “BIPEC Bible.”
Basically, the book is a legislative directory similar to the manuals printed each year at taxpayer expense by the General Assembly, except like everything the private sector does – it’s 1000x better.
Seriously, the “BIPEC Bible” not only breaks down each S.C. elected official, it goes into his or her individual district to provide updated demographic and voting trend information.
Oh, and it also has each lawmaker’s pro-business score included.
The “BIPEC Bible” is a must for anybody who follows politics in South Carolina.
According to DeLoach, the almanacs are $20.00 and can be purchased by contacting SC BIPEC.

If the legislative manuals are published at taxpayer expense what’s with the $8 cost you have to pay to purchase them? Does cost not cover expense?
