Since S.C. Treasurer Converse Chellis has been blowing through his campaign contributions like a pimple-faced, 15-year-old comic book freak going through his allowance, it’s come time already to replenish the stores.
To that end, a fundraiser is being held Chellis’ honor this coming Monday evening at some guy named Bobby’s “Pond House” on Gravedigger Road in the Red Bank region of Lexington County – where most gatherings of this sort still involve white bedsheets and burning crosses.
So who’s sponsoring such a high-brow event?
Only some of the biggest status quo RINOs in state government – Bob Peeler, Ronnie Cromer Jakie Knotts, John Courson, Rick Quinn and Kenny Bingham, just to name a few.
That’s an interesting crowd to be hanging out with if you’re a guy who wants to be taken seriously as a fiscal conservative … particularly after you’ve been serving as the RINO sock puppet on the S.C. Budget and Control Board.
Anyway, here’s the invitation if you want to start cutting some holes in your white bedsheets and filling up the gasoline cans …
UPDATE – Stay tuned later today for more on Chellis’ recent media barrage …

I wonder if all of Chellis’ so-called “supporters” are actually alive or actually supporting him.
Wouldn’t be the first time that Rod Shealy & friends have pulled this kind of stunt.

As long as Howard Rich has money, FITS will keep operating.
I am glad I do not depend upon a racist new yorker for my job

CowPoon,
We don’t … but that would be better than depending on a poverty pimp, RINO lawmaker, educrat or status quo sycophant.

Well, it is well known that Rich pulled his lobbying money. So, if he was paying Will, which I believe he was, he probably is not any longer. From what I know, he certainly is not paying other long time allies in SC anymore.
