Even Anderson County hired the formerlifestyle editor of the Anderson Insufficient to be the "litter" Czar. Then they promoted her to Public Information Director.

Put that in your Sombrero!

@Fashizzle

The bottom line is in advancing to journalism 201, you'd learn about op-ed(s) and the fact that the editor can take a stand counter to what is popular, usually in an effort to (*shock*) generate readers and ad revenue.

... but you'd have to take a business course to understand that too.

Unlike this website, AIM is fair and balanced (see below):

Officials: Let The Sunshine Shine On Spending

or

Transparency Proposals Come To Anderson

or

Watch the video provided at both stories to hear the words from the horse's mouth.

Blatant bias? As they say on the internet - LRN2READ.

SSHM -- The bottom line here is that journalism 101 teaches you to listen to both sides. The editorial page is free to express its opinion, but to rip one side without even bothering to hear its arguments is blatant bias. Bonnie's editorial described the motives of those behind the event. Well she must be psychic because she sure as hell didn't give them the chance to tell her their reasons. I guess she didn't want to risk getting caught in a corner by letting them say anything that would conflict with the attack editorial she had pre-written in advance.

@Anderson Independent

Those three (plus the fourth you mentioned) would fit the bill. I was actually thinking of Martin, Short, and Chase (from the original movie), but yes, that group fits.

It also amazes me that a news outlet that so often vilifies traditional (MSM) news outlets is all bent out of shape because a member of the traditional print media chose not to meet with your friends. Awwww. Hats off to helping the AIM with their readership.

@SSHM:

SSHM Said:
"The Three Amigos have more credibility in one sombrero that that trio of nitwits."

Would those Three Amigos be Bill McAbee, Raymond McKay and Michael Thompson? Or, is Larry Greer in there somewhere?

@FITS:

FITS Said:
"That’s a constitutional officer, a State Senator and the president of the state’s most influential think tank … and she told ‘em all to take a hike. Except in a round-about, Martha Stewart sort of way."

Let's get this right shall we. She refused to meet with a constitutional officer (who took a state van on a family vacation ... to MINNESOTA ... and was the butt of jokes on an SNL skit), a State Senator (who spends more time at the SC [Libertarian] Policy Council and fancies himself a used car salesman [see also City of Anderson not letting him sell vehicles from his Drug Store parking lot]), and the state's mote influential think tank (if you find libertarian thought and rationale [e.g., screw you, I got mine] to be influential).

Get it right Fits. The Three Amigos have more credibility in one sombrero that that trio of nitwits.

Nothing like "Wag The Dog," especially when their "dog and pony" show was not a big hit.
