Righteous Kill Had One Redeeming Quality

We didn’t think it was possible to screw up the Hollywood gold of Pacino-DeNiro, but the movie Righteous Kill somehow managed to do it.

Wait … why are we just now writing about a crappy movie that came out six months ago?

Well, Mr and Mrs. Sic subscribe to “PJ Theatre,” which is another way of saying they wait till DVD’s hit the 2 for $20 bin at Blockbuster before investing in them.

Also, our founding editor has a serious “popcorn problem.” And we’re not just talking about the hole he cuts in the bottom of the box – he eats too much of the stuff, too.

Anyway, rather than waste your time (and more importantly our time) writing a review for such an awful movie, we’ll just say “go see Heat instead.”

Yeah … that’s the way you do Pacino-DeNiro. Michael Mann-style.

Anyway, there was one redeeming characteristic in Kill … or perhaps two …

Carla Gugino, baby!

Seriously, check the eyes … because when we said “two” redeeming characteristics, we were talking about her eyes.

Clearly …

“Righteous Kill” rocks! It’s like the best movie ever, except that of course it’s not actually *the* best because that honor clearly goes to “Home Alone.” But still, “Righteous” rocks.

As does Carla Gugino, who I’ve loved since her saucy Chica Barnfell in “Troop Beverly Hills,” also one of the coolest movies ever.

Richard you are sooooo right. That package is the only stimulus I need. Dude, if Obama was handing her out I’d vote for him forever.

I agree. I’ve seen both Heat and Righteous Kill. Heat was much better, but Mann is a friggin genius.
