Anton Gunn Has A Posse
S.C. Rep. Anton Gunn admires Barack Obama for shoving a socialist vision down the throat of D.C. Republicans, but apparently he’s got a problem with S.C. RINO’s shoving their status quo vision down the throat of S.C. Democrats.
Ignoring for a moment the fact that neither “vision” is remotely in the best interests of taxpayers, isn’t that a valid point to raise?
We think so, which is why we raised it – wondering aloud this morning about the inconsistency of South Carolina’s most well-known (and apparently beloved) Obama-phile attacking the same “heavy-handed” tactics that his idol has honed to a science.
Of course, we learned something in the process … Anton Gunn has a posse, folks.
A big one.
In fact, judging by the steady barrage of pro-Gunn comments from Republicrats and Democons alike, Gunn may have accomplished the inconceivable and gotten the best of Sic Willie … on Sic’s own blog.
Yup, we said it.
The crowd w-w-w … w-w-w … w-w-went w-w-with Anton on this w-w-one, which of course prompted our founding editor to erupt into an intern-tossing, furniture-obliterating rage that lasted for fifteen violent minutes until he finally collpased into a fetally-curled, catatonic state on the floor – sucking his thumb between agonized cries of “ma-ma, ma-ma.”
So congrats, Representative. You won this round.

Dammit, Sic. Your maturity is coming through again. You admitted you were wrong. Anton Gunn has the potential to bring South Carolina into at least the 20th century, if not the 21st.

“It’s clear that everything is (their) way or the highway. If nobody’s listening to you, what’s the point? It’s always so heavy-handed.”

FITS- thanks for listening. Anton does have a D behind his name, and thus I doubt you will agree with him on much, but I think you’ll find he’s not a hypocrite like the RINOs you so correctly out as the hypocrite’s they are.

Well, until he actually says Obama and the Fed Dems are guilty of the same thing he’s blasting SC Repubs of doing, then he is, by definition, a hypocrite.
