Meghan McCain Might Date You

In one of the most depressing things we’ve read in quite some time, men are going out on dates with Meghan McCain and talking about things that will not help them get to second base.

Things like politics.

We know, we know … it’s nuts. Obviously, capitalism has gone the way of the dodo in this country, but chivalry too?

Anyway, the daughter of U.S. Senator John McCain is practically begging for a guy to take her out on a date and talk to her about something other than politics, yet for some reason the procession of Gomers she’s been seeing recently can’t seem to get that through their thick Beltway skulls.

“I fear the election has destroyed my ability and desire to date,” the 24-year old wrote earlier this week. “Nothing kills my libido quite like discussing politics.”

McCain adds that one of these Barneys actually said to her, “so straight talk runs in your family,” while another described her menu choices as “mavericky.”

Hmmm … so let’s see if we’ve got this straight.

A hot, smart, famous, wealthy, well-endowed 24-year-old wants somebody – anybody – to talk to her about stuff that isn’t boring.

And for them to refrain from cheesing out on her.

Oh, and if they can manage to make it through dinner, there’s a better than average chance some “bad decisions” might get made involving her “Allison Sweeney-esque” guadala-ton-tons.

Uhhh … what’s the problem here?

And this looks like a program you’ll want to get with sooner rather than later …
