Any “tax reform” bill filed by Leatherman has to be suspicious to any American. I’d trust tax reform from Barack Obama first! With Obama there would be a 50% chance that some of the money might go back to the middle class. Good for the Back Row Boys!

Good job to Sic for keeping an eye on all this stuff and writing about it. BIN, you are just getting creepy. Tell Bobby or McConnell to send in your replacement and let’s have a real contrarian with some wit and intelligence. Actually, scratch that. None of the dolts who work over there have either one. Let’s hope someone emerges….getting boring arguing with BIN. On the bright side, at least that idiot WMD seems to have disappeared. Now that session is back in, he’s got to put all his energy into pretending to work.

Agree about Davis. No one else has his mix of brains and guts, plus he seems to be in this for the right reasons insted of just to promote himself. People are tired of ambitious politicians who do nothing more than pump themselves up for their own gain. So far, Davis seems to be trustworthy.

Bryant always been solid….he ought to be in the leadership someday. He’s the most consistent conservative in the Senate. Interesting that all the real, substantive conservatives are emerging in the Senate….who would have thought that would happen?

Good work to Tom Davis, Kevin Bryant and all the others who stepped up to the plate, paid attention and beat this one back.

Bryant was a champ. He took the slings and arrows all day. Great job. His tax-neutral amendment got to the real crux: is this a veiled increase or not?
