If Only We Could Do This To Some Other Gators

The website Palmetto Scoop has an interesting article up today about the rash of Gator killings in South Carolina over the past year – 362 in all according to the state Department of Natural Resources.

In completely unrelated news, we may or may not be opening a new specialty store in Charleston’s historic King Street shopping district.

Our speciality? Custom-made Alligator boots.

Unfortunately, though, the Scoop story omitted any humorous reference to making boots out of other “Gators” … like, say, Tim Tebow, Billy Donovan, Mel Martinez or Charlie Crist.

Or perhaps feeding them to real gators, thus enhancing the “sheen” of the leather.
