Who Is The Sharpest Tool?

As counter-intuitive as this may seem based on graduation rates, SAT scores and pretty much every academic measurement known to man, there are actually several smart cookies living in South Carolina.

Notice we said “living,” because most of them “ain’t from ’round here” or weren’t educated here – at least not in our public school system.

Anyway, here’s your chance to vote for our “Sharpest Tool In The Shed” award, a follow-up to yesterday’s less coveted “Slow Zebra” award, which was won in a landslide by SC Hotline editor Jeffrey Sewell.

To the poll!

Bit of a slanted slate, eh (and so begins the Wolfe write-in campaign)? Besides, something else would probably be a better word, considering what gets defined as “tool” these days.
