What is wrong with utilizing solar, wind, etc. energy? Let me guess, the coal and nuclear sources are lining someone’s pocket in the industry. Some millionare somewhere would lose from it and draw their funding from something else. It’s all political. Keep staying divided, people, on everything while the world itself is wasting away, and yes, Mr. Reynolds, talk, talk, talking. The politicos love it. With the status quo, they can do as they please.

We could wipe out poverty, cure numerous diseases, etc., but god do the politicos and their constituents love to do the talk instead of the walk.

Or better yet..

lets do nothing and talk about everything wrong that everyone we dont like is doing. Thats pretty much the status quo from this crowd.

Besides..the world is ending in 2012 anyway..so why does it even matter?

Let Edwards move to another state so he can pollute mercury into the environment so his kids and his grandparents can enjoy the fruits of their “environmentalist”.

Gee whiz we can pollute and create jobs. We can also conserve and create jobs – but that takes more thought and more planning.

I hope Sanford opposes!! Do ya’ll have wind in SC? Why not have a wind farm, then it will not harm the environment, kids can go to school, families won’t have to worry about the impact of such on their environment, and people will have energy, what’s wrong with that? Coal, Nuke, doesn’t matter, it’s bad bad bad.

Which is fine if you don’t live a mile from the site, and if your children don’t attend school a mile from the site. I wouldn’t listen to the tree-huggers either. I say let’s put it in Columbia. What’s wrong with that?

If it’s a choice between listening to Governor Edwards (who also served as President of MUSC and as Secretary of Energy under Reagan)or tree huggers like Anne Timberlake and the Global Warming Guy (aka Dana Beach), I’m going with Governor Edwards.
