Just for “chips and giggles” (as Shorty says), we signed up for several hard-core social conservative e-mail lists shortly after Barack Obama was elected.
What can we say? “Here we are now, entertain us …”
Anyway, most of the stuff we get from these e-mails is crazy Kool-Aid talk, but every so often somebody forwards us something that gives us cause for pause.
Like the picture (above) taken of the National Mall shortly after “The One” ascended to the presidency.
Its caption?
“The Mall After Obama’s Supporters Listened To Him Talk About The New Era Of Personal Responsibility.”
Nice.
Evidently “personal responsibility” is somebody else’s problem. Which makes it not unlike paying for the latest trillion dollars in bailout money.
Of course, in fairness to Obama, his supporters are a lot cleaner than South Carolina motorists.
