Lottery Love On Your Dime?

The CEO of the S.C. Education Lottery is catching heat from his own employees after allegedly creating a $67,100-a-year position for a woman who staffers contend is his mistress.

According to employees at the agency, Ernest L. Passailaigue, a former S.C. Senator and gubernatorial candidate, was allegedly forced to move Lottery employee Laura Collins out of his office after Passailaigue’s wife discovered the two of them were having the affair.

Passailaigue didn’t fire Collins, however, he simply created a new position for her within the 150-employee agency, a move which has obviously stirred the ire of several folks who work there.

And while no Lottery employees would comment on the record for fear of losing their jobs, they say it’s not the first time Passailaigue has had to resort to such “emergency staffing” measures on the taxpayer dime.

We have also been informed that the Lottery Commission – which oversees the agency – has independently confirmed the employees’ version of events and yet refused to take action against Passailaigue.

Ordinarily, we could care less who politicos and government officials are supposedly boinking, but we pay Passailaigue $226,829 a year to run a lottery, not find jobs for his girlfriends.

So if you’re an S.C. politico, feel free to screw whoever you want … just don’t make it the taxpayers.

Update – Here’s Mrs. Collins …

Absolute scumbag!!

I’ll bet Mrs. Passailaigue has a good P.I. by now and Ernie’s days are probably numbered as an agency head. LOL. She will do the great state of SC a huge favor by “taking this guy to the cleaners.”

LOL

That’s what I’m talking about, Ernie!!!

More slimeball reporting from sic(k) willie. The National Enquirer would be proud to have him on staff. If he doesn’t have a legit story, not to worry.

He will make one up. This time he quotes even more anonymous sources. You know, like the ones who told him about the mysterious Midlands’ elected official he claimed has a Strom problem. And mystery sources who got him to report the gub’ner paid off the family of some “poor little black girl.”

And everyone is still waiting for details and proof of his latest scam about a so called SLED “beat down squad.”

If there is something to this (and frankly we don’t care) then let nature take its course. It always does.

And, if Ernie leaves, we know eleventy Brazillion better qualified CPAs who will take the job for a third of what SC is paying. Maybe some for less.

And here is a question for sic(k) willie. If someone starts a rumor that Ernie is having an affair with your wife, would it be okay to post a pic of her in a swimming pool with her b@@bs hanging out? Just wondering.

Got to go know. We just heard the Powerball is up to $65M.

BIN
If you want to trash Sic so badly why don’t you do a little investigating and post some proof that what Sic is reporting isn’t true?

By SupaCoop on February 8th, 2009 at 1:05 pm

Sic, is it just me or do you ever wish BIN would just shut the hell up?

By Homeland Security Bunny on February 8th, 2009 at 7:04 pm

No — we don’t want him to shut up because with every post he makes, we get a better make on his position/schmosition.

By BIN News Editorial Staff on February 8th, 2009 at 9:35 pm

The BIN News staff is at a loss for words at the post by justsaynotojoe.

Is he a m@r@n or just another bogus post from sic(k) willie’s family.

Either way,
BIN News has more important things to investigate than bogus willie scams.
