Ruh-Row
In what could be a nice compliment to its nuclear program, yesterday the IRI (Islamic Republic of Iran) successfully launched a satellite into orbit.
Sputnik, meet “Omid.”
Of course, it’s probably nothing to worry about since Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is such a stable guy, and since he’s promising that the missile and satellite technology – like Iran’s nuclear program – is only going to be used for “peaceful” purposes.
Also “probably nothing” is the fact that U.S. President Barack Obama has been fooling around with America’s missile defense strategy in an effort to appease the Soviets … err, Russians (sorry), who feel “threatened” by our country’s strategically placed interceptors in Poland and Czech-based radar system.
Wait, don’t we want other nations to feel at least a little bit “threatened?”
Anyway, we’re not worried because it’s all in Hussein’s … err, President Obama’s … capable hands.
