Fat Rodent Sees Shadow

In a “tiny village in Western Pennsylvania,” Punxsutawney Phil – a.k.a. “the groundhog” – saw his shadow this morning, which according to German legend means six more weeks of winter.

We’re not trying to be funny here, but perhaps the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club should consider mixing up its results a bit.

Over the past 121 years, Phil has seen his shadow a total of 97 times, hasn’t seen it 15 times, and there are no records for nine years.
