Proving that the more things change the more they stay the same, Lindsay Lohan’s dad shows us that even dads of lesbians get testy when it comes to the sweeties in their daughters’ lives.
Michael Lohan is apparently not a fan of LiLo’s DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
In fact, he’s taken to lambasting Ronson on his blog …
“Like I said in the past, “if I see or hear of anyone or anything causing harm or is seen as a threat to my children,” I will speak about it, and do anything I can to try to intervene regardless of the repercussions on me.
With that said, after seeing promise and thanking God for Lindsay’s freedom from SaMANtha’s bondage, I see now, that since SaMANtha has once again, weaseled her way back into Lindsay”s life, things have taken a dark turn.”
Don’t you like his clever capitalization there?
Leaving aside the relative merits of his argument, it’s comforting to know that gays really are just like the rest of us, protective fathers and all.
“Culture warriors†take note: Family values remain intact, even amid the homosexuality that threatens to destroy those values.
Seriously, though, it is pretty sweet that Lindsay’s dad, however cuckoo he is, is fatherly enough to get worked up about the unworthiness of his daughter’s main squeeze.
That’s what dads are for . . . to hate on the guys their daughters bring home – even if, as in Lindsay’s case, that guy isn’t a man so much as “the manly one.â€
For the record, we were planning to parlay Lindsay’s freckles into this post, apropos of nothing, but Sic nixed that. Apparently that icked him out, since the article’s about dads and daughters and he does have a little girl on the way.
See that? Sic’s taking it even further than Micahel Lohan, protecting his daughter even in utero.

The man’s a freak show, he spent the years he should’ve been caring for his daughter, living off drugs & prison food! Bit late to want to play concerned daddy; if he cared so much about her he wouldn’t be airing her laundry in pubic, asking relative strangers to help with his daughter… just shows he wants to play dad, but is incompetent to do so;he should lay off, go play adddy to his other baby; clearly the big child don’t want him around, but he’s being a forceful arsehole sperm donor!
