Katon Dawson’s “Black Helicopter”

That’s obviously a black GMC Suburban – not a helicopter – but employees at the S.C. Republican Party have nonetheless christened Chairman Katon Dawson’s ride “The Black Helicopter.”

We were originally turned on to the existence of this mysterious vehicle (purchased with party funds to impress visiting dignitaries) by the now-defunct web site Vierdsonian Democracy, but we never obtained (or were furnished with) a picture of it … not until we started investigating our recent story on an alleged blackmail plot involving a prominent S.C. Republican official, anyway.

Oh, and night vision, Sic? Seriously?

WIS showed Lindsey, for a few minutes yesterday morning, heeping praises on the unveiling of Obama’s big economic proposal. He said it fell short of building the I-73 he wanted, but that it had lots of all different kinds of other pork for SC—bridges, canals, and infrastructure.
Anybody else get pissed off about that?
