I was really referring back to when Drudge was much less mainstreamed than he is today; he would (as he still does on occasion) break stories with no real attribution other than his own sources, and they most often turned out to be dead-on. I haven't really researched it, but I seem to remember that's how the Clinton/Lewinski story began to leak. I'm by no stretch trying to confirm or afirm Sic's details in this saga, but all such stories have to start somewhere, right?
